Buying Gold Bullion in Dubai

Dubai is one of the world's foremost gold trading centres. For institutional-grade, LBMA-accredited gold bullion, Luxe Bullion Precious Metals LLC operates from Dubai Investment Park First and specialises in end-to-end acquisition for corporate and high-net-worth buyers. We source directly from internationally certified refineries and handle all logistics, customs clearance, and assay verification in-house.

We supply gold bullion in four carat grades: 24 carat (99.99% purity), 23 carat (95.83% purity), 22 carat (91.66% purity), 18 carat (75.00% purity), and 14 carat (58.33% purity). All material is accompanied by a certified assay report confirming purity, weight, and provenance. Pricing for each grade is displayed live on our website in AED at the LBMA spot rate.

Luxe Bullion is structured for institutional and wholesale buyers. We work with clients whose acquisition requirements justify the full logistics, customs, and assay process. Typical engagements begin at commercially meaningful quantities. We encourage prospective clients to contact us directly to discuss their specific requirements and receive a tailored proposal.

Investment-grade gold with a purity of 99% or higher is zero-rated for VAT purposes under UAE Federal Tax Authority regulations. This makes Dubai one of the most cost-efficient markets globally for acquiring pure gold bullion. Lower-carat gold used in jewellery or manufacturing may attract standard VAT; our team advises clients on the applicable treatment for each transaction.

Importing Gold Bullion into the UAE

Commercial gold imports into the UAE require a valid UAE trade licence covering precious metals, an importer registration with the relevant emirate's customs authority, and a full documentation package including a commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, air waybill, refinery assay certificate, and insurance documents. Luxe Bullion manages this entire process on behalf of clients — from export licensing in the country of origin through to UAE customs clearance and secure onward transport.

The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) is the UAE's primary free zone authority for commodities trading, including precious metals. DMCC-registered entities benefit from a regulated framework, access to the Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange (DGCX), and internationally recognised compliance standards. Luxe Bullion operates in full compliance with DMCC and UAE Central Bank requirements, ensuring every transaction meets the highest regulatory standards.

We source from internationally certified refineries across multiple jurisdictions, prioritising suppliers who hold LBMA Good Delivery accreditation or equivalent national certification. All material is accompanied by a verifiable chain-of-custody documentation trail from the refinery to the point of delivery in the UAE. We do not source from unverified or conflict-affected supply chains.

Gold shipments are declared through the relevant emirate's customs portal — typically Dubai Customs for shipments arriving via Dubai International Airport or Jebel Ali Port. A licensed customs broker files the declaration, and the shipment is assessed against the documentation package. Luxe Bullion coordinates all customs brokerage, duty assessment, and release procedures, ensuring shipments clear without delay.

LBMA Standards & Assay Certification

The London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) is the international authority that sets the benchmark standards for gold and silver trading globally. LBMA Good Delivery accreditation is the gold standard for institutional bullion — it guarantees that bars meet strict specifications for weight, dimensions, purity, and surface quality. All gold supplied by Luxe Bullion meets or exceeds LBMA Good Delivery standards, ensuring full liquidity and acceptance in international markets.

An assay report is an independent laboratory certificate that confirms the purity, weight, and composition of a gold consignment. It is issued by an accredited assay office and forms a critical part of the documentation required for UAE customs clearance, insurance, and resale. Luxe Bullion provides a certified assay report with every delivery, giving clients complete confidence in the material they receive.

Gold prices are benchmarked against the LBMA Gold Price, which is set twice daily in USD per troy ounce. The price reflects global supply and demand, macroeconomic conditions, and currency movements. In the UAE, prices are quoted in AED using the fixed dirham peg of 3.6725 AED per USD. Our live price ticker displays indicative LBMA spot rates for each carat grade in real time, updated every 60 seconds.
